The video diaries will include:
* How to perform Surya Namaskar correctly
* Proper breathing techniques during yoga
* Correct posture and alignment
* Understanding pranayama and breath control
* Meditation guidance for beginners
* Yoga for mental calmness and emotional balance
* Improving focus and concentration
* Traditional yogic principles and practices
* Understanding yoga as a healing journey
Alongside practical guidance, Neha also shares insights into her personal yoga journey, daily discipline, and the role yoga plays in helping her stay balanced in today’s stressful and fast-moving world.
For Neha, yoga is not simply a fitness activity — it is a personal space of grounding, healing, calmness, and inner peace.
A GLIMPSE INTO NEHA’S DAILY ROUTINE
Neha follows a disciplined and structured daily yoga routine while always making time for her own self-practice and wellbeing.
Early Morning
Her morning batches begin at 6:15 AM. Before teaching others, Neha dedicates at least 30 minutes to her own practice, which usually includes deep breathing exercises and rounds of Surya Namaskar.
She believes every day the body feels different, so her routine changes depending on what her body and mind need — sometimes focusing more on pranayama and other times combining different asanas and breathing practices.
Mid-Day
Between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, she takes a short break before starting her next batch at 9:30 AM.
From around 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Neha conducts personalised one-to-one sessions for individuals who require customised care, rehabilitation support, or tailored yoga guidance according to their physical and emotional wellbeing needs.
Evening
Before beginning her evening classes, Neha again spends time practicing pranayama and grounding asanas to centre herself mentally and physically.
Her final class of the day finishes around 6:50 PM.
NEHA’S FAVOURITE YOGA POSES
Shirshasana (Headstand)
Neha loves Shirshasana because it builds incredible core strength while improving physical and mental balance. According to her, this posture keeps you fully present in the moment and strengthens concentration and stability.
Shashankasana (Rabbit Pose)
Shashankasana is one of Neha’s favourite relaxation poses because it gives instant rest to the body, relaxes the shoulders, calms the nervous system, and helps recharge the mind and body whenever she feels physically or mentally tired.
Breathing & Meditation
Neha strongly believes that modern lifestyles and stress have caused many people to develop shallow breathing habits without even realising it.
Through her video diaries, she explains the importance of conscious deep breathing and how correct breathing techniques can calm the mind, reduce stress, and improve emotional wellbeing.
Meditation also plays a central role in her teaching philosophy. She believes meditation helps individuals:
* Build emotional balance
* Improve focus and mental clarity
* Feel calmer and more grounded
* Spend meaningful quiet time with themselves
* Reconnect with their inner self
UNDERSTANDING TRUE YOGA
One of the most important messages Neha shares through her video diaries is that yoga should not be treated as just another exercise routine.
Yoga is not only about flexibility or achieving advanced postures. It is about creating harmony between:
* Breath
* Body
* Mind
She explains that breathing acts as a bridge during yoga practice, allowing the body and mind to work together in balance.
Neha also emphasises that yoga is a healing journey, not a process of forcing the body into difficult postures. Every individual’s body is different, and yoga should always be practiced according to personal comfort, ability, and wellbeing needs.
Whether someone is a beginner or an advanced practitioner, the most important principle is to listen to your body and practice mindfully.
Through these video diaries, Trafford School of Yoga CIC aims to make authentic yogic wisdom accessible to modern communities while encouraging healthier, calmer, and more mindful living.
